The Folchi Arms and Fiesole

Historical records identify Roberto Folchi as Bishop of Fiesole from 1481 to 1510 and preserve arms attributed to him. Guglielmo de’ Folchi succeeded him as Bishop of Fiesole in 1510.

These surviving records establish an important historical connection between the Folchi name, heraldry and the Catholic Diocese of Fiesole.
